And im not sure why you are arguing this...the links above are kind of hard to dsipute as to the idea that violent video games have a negative effect on people. Certainly not solely nor even mostly responsible for what we have seen, but again are likely a piece of the puzzle.

Guns are the major part of this, but there are quite literally millions and millions of gun owners who have not and never will use their weapons against other people....as there are millions of those unaffected by video games but others who are.
I argue because there are numerous people that have studies that do not agree.

The rest of the world has less guns and more video games too so do you really want to use your example as a blame for video games?
