Look I don't want to de-rail this thread anymore than I might already have, but sorry to say, yes he does. Nemisz benefitted from being on a very talented Spitfires team which probably helped him get selected to Team Canada at the WJC a few years ago. I watched him during that tournament and it was plain to see that he was a step slower and his hands failed him numerous times on glorious scoring opportunities. I even remember the commentators pointing out at one point that he was the lone Canadian forward yet to register a point in the tourney. Had a second opportunity to watch him in the Memorial Cup and things did not improve in that tourney either.
As for the suggestion that Ennis could not duplicate his game at the NHL level, people obviously wouldn't looking close enough or knew enough about the kid's character to realize that he is a tireless worker combined with a great skill set.
The positive at least is that Feaster and Weisbrod see the same elements in Gaudreau that Ennis possesses and didn't let his lack of size sway them from drafting him.
