Bobblehead, I'm staying at the Super 8 Airport on Barlow trail and approx. 36th. I have to end up at 37th Avenue and 35th Street (approx.).
It's about a 2.2 km walk according to Google Maps.

Its a bit of a hike. You'll walk by a bunch of restaurants, Sobeys, near a Safeway (but they are all new where your work is, long walk with a bag of groceries). Sounds like you are just up from the Safeway; 37th ave stops at 32nd St, but you are probably on the street that goes from 32nd (by the Blockbuster/Safeway) up to 39th (by the Whitehorn C-Train Stop)
Completely residential/commercial area, so very few pedestrians. Most of your walk you can go along 32nd, and there will always be quite a bit of traffic around.
