this has been the first mass shooting that has really hit me emotionally. Aurora, Wisconsin, older ones like VA Tech or Columbine, never really connected with me. but these are just kids, the same age as my niece. the horrors that the survivors witnessed and the immeasurable pain that the parents of the slain are feeling is just unfathomable. suck a ####ing waste
