I saw it yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Wished I could've seen it in 3D but some of the family can't handle the 3D.

But I took it for what it is, a fantasy adventure book made into a fantasy adventure movie. I found the book much more light hearted than LOTR and found the movie the same.

I thought it was very well done and will probably go see it in 3D over the holidays.
