While the argument over gun control and the 2nd amendment is sure to have legitimate points from both sides people need to realize that the American populace are not going to give up their guns, no matter what. Unless the government wants to start a civil war they need to take some other angle at this than gun control, like limiting gun production and attempting to improve the overall mental health of the nation. There's just no point in talking about gun control because it's not going to happen.
