I feel like I'm in the Twilight zone. Does no one else think this is a little crazy? Knuckleballer or not, this guy is 38 years old. Also, no, I don't think Tim Wakefield is a good counter to his age, Wakefield had a pretty solid career for a long time. This is being based on two pretty outlying years. Ok the guy won the Cy Young, but it's not like he was a solid pitcher that got better and better and won it, he came out of nowhere to do it with a gimmick pitch. A very short term move imo, I don't know if I'm a fan of that cost for it.
