yeah, we are collectively more aware of eachothers' well being. While Canadians can be extremely mean the arrogance and consumerism in the U.S. is more rampant, they have more people on pharmaceuticals and their food is more processed. You will see acts of kindness way more often in Canada than in the U.S. Our social policies and higher tax rates create a society where we are forced to help the less fortunate as where in the U.S. it's dog eat dog.
