For the second time the Sabres kept the game close against the mighty Thrasher. Whatever lines the SIM has going has the Sabres playing good D, but not good enough on O...Through 2 games Thrash have 4 goals, sabres 1...the Sabres only goal by Vinny Prospal, the 03-04 CPHL scoring champ, unassisted. JS Giguere has been earning his keep so far. The Sabres did keep the Thrash PP off the scoreboard this time, but still the team is taking too many penalties, Atlanta has 13 PP, Buffalo 4 after two games.
Series switches to Buffalo where Sabres hope to salvage some pride
