$100 million is a great opening, but I still think that The Hobbit will blow it away. Hopefully it can find a way to make it past freakin Twilight.

Also, Avatar's opening weekend was not stellar. It was $77 million. It picked up steam later on and was marked not by its incredible opening but its incredible longevity.
