Don't go after the WRP for doing what voters expect them to do. You seem to have a problem with media coverage and I would suggest you go after them.

Ultimately it's voters who hold the government accountable, and if you don't present a substantial and desirable alternative then it doesn't really matter what scandals there may be.

I've been scanning the readers comments that get posted in Albertas newspapers, the Sun, Herald and the Journal. All have a spaces under each article where one can sign up and post comments. Albertans are angry with the Redford government and the sense of entitlement. Add in the spending scandals and the ever growing debt, Redford is badly losing in the poll of public opinion. The preception is that the PC's are a corrupt govt and Redford can't be trusted with what she says.

If voters do respond to the scandals and elect a group that doesn't have sound policies, well that's a cure that's worse than the disease.

You sound like the woman in an abusive relationship. She won't leave because the fear of the unknown is worse than the situation she's in. Sometimes you need to face the unknown and give it a chance before you write it off as being a worse situation.
