The Wildrose put forth over 100 amendments to bills in this very short session.
You can see a full breakdown of the stats here and there area also links to summaries of the amendments that were put forward.
The NDP and the Libs put forth amendments too. Plus all 3 opposition parties worked together to bring forward viable solutions. Bringing total to well over 100.
You know how many they PC's let go through? 3 !!!
I've said it before, no "one" party has all the ideas; but through collaboration better ideas can be generated and policy formed. Right now there is only one party that doesn't understand that - the PC's. |
Not to attack the stat, but what's the average by a majority party in this regard? Under Klein? Stelmach? How about in the federal conservatives? Paul Martin? I'm not familiar with this area of politics.
I guess the heart of my question is "Is this just a typical action of a majority government, or is it a Redford issue?"
