I thought the Governor's bandage over his eye was a nice touch.

Started off clean and white while he was still the "old" Governor. Then it progressed to red as his eye continued to bleed... at about the same pace as we saw his character develop into the newer, more dangerous Governor. (Now with twice the evil!)

It's the little things that put this show over the top.
