Last I looked, CP is a hockey dicusssion forum revolving around our Flames. Like me, some of us are optimistic about our team and like to discuss it. You wanna tell me to stop posting ? cause I'm embarrasing myself and others ? I'm sorry if you don't like the Flames chances, or have any optimism like me- considering the site you are on, I think you should go and #### yourself Sally. Why don't you take it to the Canucks or Oilers blog. Go write and post for teams you think are better.

Still in mom's basement reading comic's ? or just really like batman ? here's a history lesson for you Billy, Minny already lost a team cause they sucked- and sucked for a long time. They lost their team cause they (the owners) could not keep up with the losses. They are a hockey area , but, consistant loosing revenue teams usually don't last too long. They have another chance now. If they loose, same will happen again. The US market is not geared to the NHL. If the team wins a bit, like in Nashville etc, they will go for a bit, but if they loose every game....don't kid yourself. These are teams that don't bring in any profit. Food for thought... Toronto has the biggest fan base and is the most profitable team in the NHL~ not cause they win, cause of the support. St.Louis made the playoffs last year and was a dominant force during the year- yet, the least profitable team in the league. What does that tell you ? that's why I say Calgary will be eventually successfull, we have the fans and we want to win cause we have a tradition to do so.

Both Parise and Suter were solid aqisitions, but for the money, are not game changers and not nearly worth the money spent and eventually will handcuff their team financially down the road. If Parise goes down to injury, which he does from time to time, then what ? You forgot Patrick Sieloff as a prospect, a lock, John Gillies, Rammo, Cervenka, Breen, etc. I will fight for Calgary's chances 5 years from now~ you do what you do.

And maybe this isn't a "pump up the Flames site", but, I was hoping it was a group of people to talk about them- not put them down. Considering you got a St.Louis Cards pic as your moniker, and you stupid posts in the past, I think you definately mis-read something, somewhere.

Time to take a few breaths, and maybe a nap there, champ.
