This does sound pretty out of character, and henceforth a shocking turn of events for Belcher. Agents always defend their players, but his agent claims he was always gracious volunteering for charity events. He was an undrafted free agent, and those guys make teams because they stand out on special teams. Where do the highest speed collisions take place? Special teams...so who knows. It's a tragic situation, and no doubt it's the baby daughter, and the family of the mother who I feel most for. But really everyone left behind has questions that likely never get answered.
