Its interesting, it wouldn't have been that many years ago that the first jump point would have been to steroids, then casual drug use, then depression and now concussions, thats why its way to soon to make links.
I've had multiple concussions in my life 7 diagnosed and probably a bunch of other smaller ones where I was knocked loopy, my last serious one happened this summer when I went out to play flag football with some members of this site.
I know every time its easier to get them, I also know that including the last one I had crazy mood swings, I forget things constantly, I have terrible concentration, And small things set me off like a anger fueled rocket. So I don't discount concussions.
It is interesting to note that he doesn't show that he missed any time for a concussion through his career, he played in every game, so to me it will be interesting to see if he does have any damage that can be linked to concussions. (From what I understand even with the brain destroyed they can still find damage from concussions in the autopsy). If he did have them then its a pretty strong indictment against the NFL and how teams treat head injuries.
But its way to soon to conclude that he had Chris Benoit levels of brain damage from head blows, but reaching that conclusion right away has become extremely popular.
For all we know the guy could have been a jerk, or a alcohol, or depressed or under incredibly stressful conditions, or bipolar or worse.
Or he just could have been a killer.
I feel terrible for the girls family, his family and his team mates.
