Im getting a strange feedback/distortion in games, not usually when playing Mp3s. For example, when I start up NHL, the "E-A sports.. its in the game" sounds kinda crackly and staticy at the same time.

-Not a physical problem, headphones get the same thing as speakers
-Not a sound card problem, I swapped out my old audio card and got the same thing
-Updated to the latest sound drivers
-Motherboard drivers are up to date

This problem, interestingly enough, only seems to occur after certain reboots. If I get the problem, a reboot almost always fixes it. Yet the next time I reboot it might and often comes back. Anyone have any ideas on whats up?

I also should note I recently installed a new motherboard, an Asus A8v. I formatted and installed all necessary software. Im running a AMD64 3200 with a gig of dual channel RAM
