Ray may have had a better career than Lulay so far but right now Lulay is a much better QB. I guess Ray is lucky that he didn't have that idiot Mccallum missing 18 yard FG's or the league screwing him out of two trips to the finals or it may be him with 2 GC rings not one like Burris. And again Burris had a better year this year than Ray.

What exactly is wrong with Ricky Ray other than that he's not that mobile? He completes a very high percentage of his passes, doesn't throw many interceptions, can huck the ball deep if he wants to, can control the clock if he needs to, and takes mediocre teams to championships. That is hardly the mark of the 3rd or 4th best QB in the CFL.

What is wrong with Ray? Not a whole lot. He seems to love the dink and dunk passes which have held back his teams in the past and was lucky that it didn't hurt him yesterday. I would say the league and the play-off set up takes mediocre teams to the GC more than him.
As for 3rd/4th in the league that is for right now so his previous GC wins don't do much for that argument. As for all time considering QBs in the league he would be 2nd/3rd behind Calvillo and tied with Burris.
