Stupid OHL.

yeah, the OHL has adopted a new fighting rule this season. Starting with your 11th fight, you're automatically suspended for two games per fight. Starting with your 16th fight, your team also has to pay a fine of 1,000 dollars per fight. Apparently this new system is working, as the number of fights in the OHL was down in October by 32 per cent in comparison to last year.
Yesterday's bout was Sieloff's 5th fight in 26 games this season ... you do the math. If he continues this pace, he'll have his 10th fight after 52 games. I really love the kid's tenacity and it's a shame if he has to "waste" one of 10 allowed fights everytime he delivers a hard, clean hit. I hope this stupid fight rule won't make him avoid those hits, it's obviously a big element of his game.
