My sister, who's a skeptic, atheist and also someone convinced she saw a ghost when she was young.

We've had interesting discussions about it, I think like all ghost sightings its the mind playing tricks, but she is quite convinced of it.

You never hear of ghost sightings in a brightly lit room, its always in shadows, darkness, haze, any ideal situation for the brain to put shapes and faces to the unknown which is something left over from evolution protecting us from predators.
