so it appears that my parents can no longer live on their own (dad having heart trouble with recent pacemaker installed and mom showing signs of dementia/general forgetfulness) - my sister has located a decent looking retirement residence in Arbour Lake (I am going to tour it on Saturday).

Please tell me what kind of things do I need to know/pass along Pro-Tips...

It is my understanding that rent will be a % of thier income and it appears they get 3 square per day. Residence offers shuttle service for appointments etc.

socially, it will likely be a good move for my mom, as she does much better with mental stimulation from peers.

anybody else have parents in a similar residence? anyone have any expereince with this place in Arbour Lake?
