I was there during the week of Halloween. I saw that guy, and I'm pretty sure it was really Zack G too.
I saw them filming scenes for a moving, which I suspect is for Hangover 3, but it could also be for Lost Vegas (a grumpier old men meets Hangover type movie). At any rate, after 8pm they shut down the strip every half hour for about 10 minutes from Planet Hollywood down to Caesar's. You could walk on the sidewalks, but not cross the street. A guy dressed like Elvis would parachute from a helicopter come over the Bellagio fountains and get sprayed by them. Then he would land on the road. A couple minutes later two more parachuters would come down, the 2nd was a camera man and he was closely following the first one who would also get sprayed by the fountain, they would land on the road, and they would all get taken away by a car waiting in the alley between Bally's an Paris. During this they had blocked off the largest fountain observation point on the strip. They had some extras watching the fountains and a camera crew filming the extras just watching the fountains until the parachuters came down.
The next night a guy would parachute down and land somewhere between the Caesar's towers. They had a camera crew setup on the overpass between Bellgio and Caesar's. The parachuter looked like he was going to crash into the Caesar's tower.
All in all it was pretty cool to see.
