lol this is exactly the kind of comment I'm talking about. People get so worked up over nothing. 4-hour workweek is the title of the book why? TO SELL MORE BOOKS. I think "four hours" was probably mentioned a total of twice the whole book? Since it was a best seller basically it's whole existence, it worked. Yes, the title was a gimmick. And?
Someone else picks up the slack? Not only is that no necessarily true (nor the point of most of the book), but so what? Does your boss work less than you for more money? Probably - that's life. You pick up his slack, someone will pick up yours eventually (except it sounds like you are not into that?).
Again, you seem to take an issue with Ferriss "creative types" and not the book. You think he doesn't see himself "making a difference" in his TED life? lol, dude the guy writes
self-help books. He made a difference in my life, so that's one. He donates tons of money, and looks like he's living life how he wants to. Drinks some tea and wears some ####ing ugly shoes. He works many, many more than four hours per week. At one point, he didn't.
If you're happy working 40 hours every week for someone else, that is really cool and I truly am happy for you. It just wasn't for me. I see people working till they're 65 waiting for their pension, and then they can go travel. They can finally live their life when it is 90% over and they are too old to bungee jump. Pretty much my worst nightmare.
I mean, maybe people do need self help to get a woman to orgasm. I don't see how this is a bad thing lol. Are you anti orgasm? Are you some Don Juan that every woman melts at your touch? peter12inches needs only to look at a woman and instantly she shall orgasm. Some dudes dont' know how to make girls orgasm and would like to learn how, and somehow this is a bad thing and they should be mocked for it lol?
