Maybe getting two sperm whales aboard a ship would have been too much of a task. God got lazy.
As well, I want the technical details / construction specifications of a crudely-made boat that survived the greatest flood known to Man. Are they available somewhere? No? That Noah must've been one hell of an engineer.

I am not Mr. Religion but didn't god flood the earth to punish man, to wipe him out and start again. Not to punish his other creations.
That being said why didn't he just hurl the planet into the sun and start again?
Wasn't Noah supposedly 400 years old when he finished the ark...now that's playing favorites...or cruel and unusual punishment.
