They need a playoff system in the worst way, 2014 can't get here soon enough. Pretty excited for this weekend, by no means do I claim to be diehard, but I've been following ND since '05 in the Weis/Quinn/Walker/Samardzija days, haven't missed a game the past couple seasons. It's been a fun and shocking ride. Agreed Iceman, I want Bama too, just so if they do somehow pull off the W, the ND detractors can't really argue (in theory anyway).

That OU game was so much fun, so much disrespect & smacktalk from their fans on the Saints boards beforehand, thought they were gonna win by 3 TD's. But instead they lose by 17 in Norman. Oops!

Right, because there wouldn't be any arguments at all over determining who's number 4 vs 5 or 8 vs 9. That element will always be there, playoff or no playoff.
