Notre Dame - Alabama is actually probably the best matchup out there. Sure would be a much better game than watching Florida - Georgia/Alabama or Georgia/Alabama - Florida State. Those would all be bigger embarassements of a game than with Notre Dame. Unfortunetly if not Notre Dame, its the Florida-FSU winner, which either way will make for a historically unwatchable NCG.

Also, moral of the story: Schedule FCS cupcakes the second week of November wherever possible. SEC should be disqualified from the new playoff if they continue to do that charade. Say what you will about the Domers, at least they'll play pretty much anyone.
