IMHO here's what they were trying to do...

Its been designed to make it easy for people coming off of deerfoot to make it to the 3rd exit (that heads to 52nd street) because now, rather that everyone going there trying to get into the Left lane (and backing up the road), both lanes can enter and drive 60% the way around.

Unfortunately, as a Mckenzie towne resident, the last thing I want is to make it easier for people to cut through the community. Instead, the changes should've been designed to make it easier for our residents to enter and exit the community.

(also, for clarity sake, the discussion regarding the traffic circle was held at the community association's meeting on Wednesday, not at the Council's AGM on Tuesday)
