Agreed, but really there are just too many fanboys and too many existing opinions on what star wars should be that the series is doomed. I have already seen quite a bit of support online for the notion of resurrecting Darth Vader for the new films, which IMO is a terribly bad idea.
I am willing to bet that the next Star Wars film is going to be pretty bad.
