Selig is such an out of touch moron. It's just pathetic pandering on his part to even discuss that he's "reviewing this trade". He's so out of touch with baseball as a whole, he looks and acts like Mr. Burns, just unaware of anything going on around him. It's pathetic that he'd even speak out about this being under review, especially after he's allowed Loria to do this so many times and has empowered him as an owner.
MLB should be jumping for joy, and I assume behind closed doors a lot of them are, that one of their biggest markets is now spending like it.
Sounds like a hold up is the players personals as Reyes was in Dubai and Mathis was on a hunting trip. Will be glad when this is finally official
