How many copies did they sell? I thought it was reported that the game cost like $150+ million (pretty sure this number is correct).
I'm not sure on the breakdown of profits from computer games (I know it for console games), but I assume like the console games Microsoft gets a cut. Then the retailers get about $20-25 of a $60 sale (this is obviously is different if people bought it digitally).
I'd say they get roughly $30-45 from each sale depending on where people bought it.
They'd need to sell roughly 3.8 million copies to break even.
