I fully agree its a general football term used at all levels of football for years its the same message to a team as "hit hard and finish your hit". Usually It doesn't mean a HC is saying literally hit players in the mouth.
With that said I thought George's hit was extremly dirty and intential. They should have considered tossing George from the game or the ref should have went directly to Chamberlain and warned if this BS continues your going to have your players ejected from the game.
At least the refs threw the flags on the Un neccesary roughness, roughing the passer and then the deliberate facemask on Cornish. All on the same drive. Both defenders actually facemasked him.
Either the D for Sask was trying to take key players out the game on the Stamps or they were told to, it was IMO a strange series of consecutive events.
