My parents never let us have anything sugar filled, so I always would watch Saturday morning cartoons and dream of the day I could buy it on my own.
Fast forward 20 years, and boom they sell the 1.5kg big box at Costco, it was like it was meant to be. Brought it home, and cracked it open on my 32nd birthday. Oh the anticipation...
and it was totally disgusting. Just like those 80's sitcoms you thought were oh so hillarious, time, old age, and taste that plain white sugar can't answer ruins it. Just tasted like a pile of crunchy chemicals.
Too bad too, I really wanted to love it. Those dog and cop cartoon commercials had a hold on me a long time ago, "Can't get enough of that cooookie crisp!" Sigh.
