The opening chase was great, then there was the fight scene in the skyscraper which was wonderfully shot. The fight in the casino with the Komodo wasn't great but the subway chase scene was good and the final fight was a great finale.

Whether not you liked it, that's your call but saying there was only two action sequences is just wrong.

Not really. There were two big action sequences, the beginning and the end. There was nothing in the middle other than a couple fights. The silhouette fight was amazing though.

The climax action scene wasn't even that creative, dare I say it was even boring (until the end of it).

There was a good 45-60 minutes (until Silva is introduced and then another 15 after he is captured) where its all plot (not even that interesting either in my opinion).


Something else that my friend pointed out that I totally agree with is

the scene where Silva escapes and goes after M and the movie splits between him and M giving her speech, is textbook Christopher Nolan.

I liked the movie and while it wasn't Prometheus levels of disappointment I'd only give it a 7/10. Maybe it's just because it had all the hype so I was expecting brilliance and I didn't get that. The script was just lacking.

Silva can hack into basically any system he wants. He does that, get's M's attention, gets captured by MI6 so he can get M, and explains to M that this is all revenge to kill her because his teeth are all fated up and because he didn't die? Though for the first hour of the movie you deal with Bond getting back in shape and Silva isn't even introduced until the 1hr to 1hr 15 minute mark, so you really have two movies in one.

I don't know, the more I think about this movie the more I find to complain about or find things that I didn't like. I'll definitely re-watch it though, but my initial thoughts are the film wasn't nearly as good as people say it is.

Also, as much as people or the studio may say this is a "Bond Resurrection" film, this is really an M film. Judi Dench is an amazing M so I don't toally mind that though.
