Ya I'm pretty sure I see where you're coming from. Must have misread the tool tip.
I see you're point in regards to the armour as well. For the most part I think I do ok with my piloting. However, it's to easy to get hammered by missiles and melt into a puddle if you get caught out. For the most part I get the upper hand against most of the lights I've gone against. As well, I've done a better job of curbing my chasing habits so I don't get caught out in the open quite as much, and the ams definitely helps, but I suspect with the cata being a trial mech, the amount of missiles in play is only going to increase haha.
I went for the the 'best' Jenner, and while the variant with 6 laser hardpoints I would consider a side grade, the other variant definitely seems like a downgrade in comparison to either of the other 2. As you said though, getting c-bills is pretty easy and with very little effort I have enough to buy a second jenner, that's with a lot spent on changing my loadout on my current jenner (I generally keep all my weaponry, JJ's and heatsinks etc instead of selling them). I think I'll end up pursuing all variants of the jenner, although I think I might first get a hunchback so I can have some variety in my mech choices. 4 mechs will fill up all my bays without requiring me having to spend real money yet.
