To put it mildly.
If Obama doesn't actually deliver on fiscal issues, and deliver well, he'll essentially be paving the road for a very right-wing Republican that is actually a social policy threat to gays, women, immigrants etc., and not a moderate candidate like Romney was. Which may also be bad for the economy, but Americans seem to love the radical flip-flops when times are rough.
