I have a pretty simple philosophy here in Columbus. Anytime I can pick up a great player without giving up someone I REALLY like I will do it. Callahan and Oshie were both brought up but I managed to get a deal done without sending one of those guys. Hossa is a great player and Coburn a solid young dman but neither guy carries the same type of value Parise does.

Considering what I gave up to get Coburn and Hossa, I like this trade a lot.
