Fair enough. My point is:
jhunt can die in a fire for all I care. So can anyone who parks in front of my house or in my parking stall for weeks or longer than a very temporary basis.
This isnt (likely) the worst thing happening to jhunt in his life. That still doesnt make it a nice, considerate or even civilized thing for someone else to do. Common courtesy would dictate that the space in front of your house should primarily be yours barring some sort of event or emergency.
No, its not a law. No, it isnt strictly enforceable. Lets look beyond needing The City of Calgary or Her Majesty to solve all of our minor civil problems for us.
