Ok, here's the deal. I moved from calgary about 6 years ago, and i always remembered lake bonavista as being man-made (if you dig deep enough on the beach, you hit concrete... don't ask me how i know this).
Now my friend who lives in lake bonavista but is here @ uni with me claims that its real, but i'm almost 100% sure it was constructed. I'm too lazy to google it so i figured i'd post here and let the answer come to me
