At worst I hope they get someone like a Nolan/Spielberg/Jackson to produce and oversee the production. That way they would be able to watch over the entire project in case something goes wrong during production.
Another couple names I would suggest would be either Guillermo del Toro who was supposed to helm The Hobbit during pre-production, or possbily Joss Whedon might be a remote possibility since he's already on Marvel's payroll. Even someone like Jon Favreau is still on good terms with Disney, and might be capable of directing a Star Wars movie.
Just whoever they choose, please don't let it be someone like Michael Bay!
