I wouldn't read into anyone in re: to the manager yet. As much as I don't see it being Acta, AA is likely just being very diligent as always trying to find someone.
I'm fine not bringing back Villanueva. His arm died 3/4 of the way through the season and he went on a truly awful stretch. He's just not someone you can trust to put a lot of innings in as a starter next season.
