I've heard that the small high jump at COP isn't to Olympic standards anymore. I would imagine that most of the Olympic buildings in the city aren't up to snuff anymore. As much as most would imagine that the facilities wouldn't cost as much for another Olympics, I would have to imagine that the cost to bring it back to Calgary would be on par, if not more (destruction, re-building... oh, and look at the cost of real estate... building a house in Calgary isn't cheap... not sure if there's a connection, but my un educated head seems to think so)
I hate to say it, but I think Edmonton would get an olympics before we do again. Just my opinion.
