Here's another good site for checking recent earthquake activity (and any weather system)
It's called intellicast, and you have to "add" earthquakes to the map, but it's pretty sweet, and you can see what's happening worldwide.
Side note, and I'm not sure if it's been mentioned here yet, but the same area that got hit last night also just had a 5.1 hit them too.
