I know its hard for the majority of posters to comprehend the impact a hurricane has on on area, so when the 4th one in a month heads to the same area, the results have to be nothing short of devastating.
Florida braces for such a phenomenon this morning as Jeanne heads for the eastern side of that storm weary state. I simply cant fathom what its like to be boarding up your home for the 4th time in 4 weeks and heading North without knowing what you will find when you return. Just brutal. Not to mention this storm is already responsible for the deaths of over 2,000 people.
Im hoping beyond hope that this thing doesnt make a direct impact on an area already crippled and water logged. The results could be beyond anything seen since Andrew.
Also I am selfishly hoping this thing doesnt take a path that will bring it my way, as this area has had all it can handle as well. The physical and emotional impact it would have on the masses may be more than many can handle.
Anyhow...rant over. Send good thoughts to the people of Florida...they need all they can get.
