Unfortunatle all the individual brands of SLR manufacturers do not make universal lenses. It's lame. Makes sense from their perspective though, as people often spend far more on lenses than on cameras so they want to keep customers buying their stuff. Also when people switch lenses, they aren't going to buy all new lenses, so it encourages people to stay with one brand of camera body.
Third parties do make lenses, which is what this probably is. It will be designed to fit one of the major brands of SLR camera bodies: Nikon, Sony, Canon, Minolta, etc...
