I had all mine pulled quite some time ago.

they were acting up so the Dental Surgeon did some X-rays took one look at them and said ther eis no way I'm doing these unless you are asleep (i.e. general anesthesia not local).

The first two apparently popped out in 5 minutes. The third took about 15 minutes. The last one took over an hour as they had to cut the crown off and then aplit the tooth in three to get it out (it was hooked under my molar).

I was in quite some pain for a good 5 or 6 days. I actually still have trouble with my jaw "clicking" now and then.
