Hey everyone, sort of odd to be posing in the Off-Topic forum for my first
post, but I was just wondering if anyone else thinks Calgary could possibly
get the nod to host the Winter Olympics in the future. It probably wouldn't
happen for a long time since Vancouver is hosting it in 2010... but I think
Calgary would definitly see the spot light once again... 88 was regarded as
one of the most successful olympics ever and its effects are evident even
today. Many of the facilities are still in use by athletes world wide and to this
day the games are still making profit.
