This. As long as the exposed tattoos are not offensive they're fine.

I personally am not a fan of tattoos, but that doesn't affect my overall view of how someone should be treated. Cover them, and if they can't be covered they should be non offensive.

If you have offensive tattoos that can't be covered you probably don't have the intellect to serve in a public profession.

Really his should be a non issue.
