I didn't enjoy my experience. I went in to have all 4 pulled at once without going fully under. You don't feel much, but listening to the cracking of the teeth is not pleasant. Plus you feeling the pulling sensation while the guy is using this crowbar like tool to get them out.

To make matters worse the dentist I went to couldn't get my top two out, apparently I had abnormally large wisdom teeth, so I had to go to a guy that specialized in wisdom teeth and get the top two removed. So just after the bottom two wounds had healed I had to go back before I got on solid food again. Then they did the top two and it was the whole thing over again.

As for age, I think I was 22 at the time. If I had to do it again, I would have paid the extra cash to go fully under (I only had partial insurance coverage).
