Other dates that went well (this time of year)... Cross-country skiing, tobogganing, skating (olympic oval might have public skate time Thursdays), I think some of the haunted houses should be open by now (screamfest etc).

Screamfest (
www.screamfest.ca) is on now but only Friday/Saturday/Sunday. The week of Halloween it's open Monday Tuesday Wednesday as well. Would be a good idea on that week, probably a lot more people.
The skating thing would be a solid idea (it occurred to me, believe me) if I didn't have a blown ACL.

This sounds pretty awesome on a weekend, though again, later on down the road. Not as much of a date as a weekend trip thing to KC. Actually it sounds like a pretty awesome idea regardless of who you're going with.
