Seems to be some confusion on this.

Trades are updated in the sim once a day, after we sim games. Any trades made after we sim will not be in the sim for the next day games. But you may dress players for one more game even if you have traded them. Injury risk is part of the game, but this is really the only way for teams to dress full line-ups and trade.
